The Board of Technical Education (BTE) is an autonomous body of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It is responsible for the education policy for Uttar Pradesh, India, known as UPBTE. This body also organizes national laboratories. The Board of Technical Education, under the ministry of science and technology, is one of the six accrediting organizations for engineering colleges in India.
The Board of Technical Education, under the ministry of science and technology, conducts national and state level examinations every year to evaluate the status of student. According to the annual criteria, the exam results decide the eligibility for the admission in various departments, such as advanced engineering, medical, and industrial training. As per the study results, the students are awarded marks for their performances. A student who is eligible to get the marks for the subject can proceed for examination. If he does not, his results are termed as “Not Appearing” in the syllabus for that course.
Under the responsibility of UTIPS, the Board of Technical Education provides technical education at both primary and secondary levels. According to the syllabus and norms, the examinees are classified into three groups. The first group is of students who have passed the basic entrance exam for admission to any course offered by the school. The second group includes students who have passed the basic entrance exam but failed to secure a seat; these students have to undergo extra examination under the supervision of a teacher for securing admission in the particular course.
After marks are sorted, the remaining students who belong to the third group are in need of clearing the final examination for admission to any course offered by the school. The examination for this final examination is conducted by the State Board Of Technical Education Lucknow. There is a slight difference between the initial and the final state board exam for admission to any course in Lucknow for the purpose of clearing the bteup diploma result exam 2021. The bteup diploma result exam also known as BTEC or the BTEC twentieth exam is conducted only once.
The first group is comprised of those students who appear for the first time and appear for examination for eligibility for admission in any course offered by the school. For them, the first semester is considered as the normal semester. The normal semester starts from the first day of August from the year of release of the academic year. The first academic day for students appearing for eligibility for admission in any course is the first week of August. The first semester does not end when the last bteu year ends but only the beginning of the next academic year. The normal semester for those who appear for eligibility for admission in any course offered by the school is referred to as odd semester.
The second set of students who appear for eligibility for admission in any course offered by the school and for whom the normal semester has ended are called for the 4th semester of normal study. In the syllabus for this semester, the syllabus for examination is modified as per the eligibility of marks gained in the previous academic year and the normal score obtained in that year. The normal score for Lucknow is computed from the marks secured in the previous academic year, the marks scored in the BTEC test, and the marks secured in the last academic year.
